Skream

I suspect I would have only a passing interest in dubstep if it wasn't for this bloke. He's fucking good, I think.

Skreamism

Been listening to this and Vol:2 quite a bit of late.

Not sure dinosaur

In the end it was indecision that finally wiped the dinosaurs out.

Complacency

Watch out for it....

Un-named participants.

These two were present at the recent Rippinfest. I had to DJ songs from 1976 only, which took a lot of preparation, cos I had to play 6+ hours and keep people happy-ish. It was tough, but I learned a fuck of a lot about 1976, and a fair bit about '75 and '77 too. The only genre of music that really seemed to have it going on in '76 was roots reggae and dub, but all the party wanted to hear was punk.

You tell me a tune I should have played, and I bet I did, unless it was crap.

Bumskipper 5 front cover

Thimitris and Richard.
Thimitris is tripping, as I recall.
He says Richard has a surprisingly high voice.
We are halfway-ish through our project.

The Family

Pink dog.

This guy used to sit in the back of Sam's Skoda.

Nothing lasts forever...

Feel Like A Piece Of Shit

Feeling generally rubbish today. Could be the very long day in the kitchen yesterday, could be the antibiotics, could be the moderate to heavy drinking I did yesterday.

This is an actual picture of an actual, visited place in Spain by the way.

Girls can't be real.

Girls can't be real, apparently...

Found old misery

Some found old misery.

Um installation at LEAPS Hybrid Machine Night

This was, like, 1999 or something. That's Loukas Fmonkey on the 'scope. We call her The Old Lady, and I was watching some Pertwee era Doctor Who video the other day and I saw the same model. Very cool thing. Must make that Oscilloscope film that's been in the back of my mind since time. Actually I was going to do a record called "Music For Oscilloscopes".

In praise of Jesus

The recent heatwave has found me at Jesus Green Swimming Pool four times in as many days. What a fantastic amenity!

Um Christmas Party 2-12-00

The still of Charlie below was taken from this event. Disco Jennings didn't appear, which is a shame, but Steve Adams did a short turn.

Lord Charles is 25 today

My old mucker Charlie (and believe me there has been quite a bit of muck) celebrates July the 4th with a birthday today, as he does every year.

Hip hip!

"Diver"

I haven't been doing much of the old Microsoft Paint art of late, but here's something.

Still from Fish

This is a still from a new piece entitled Fish, which can be viewed here:

Sharp GF-777

For some reason I never shut up about the fact that I own one of these tape recorders. This picture doesn't really give you a sense of the scale of the beast I'm afraid. If I had a good picture of Richard Rippin, perhaps in one of his political jumpsuits, I'd cut and paste him standing next to it.

Pete's Italian beer review.

We got the bottletop below in Italy, where I was forced to forage for imported brews due to the standard of the local ales. Nastro Azurro is fine, but everything else I drank was swag. Needless to say their vineyards are more than equal to our English ones, and the food isn't too bad either.
